Four years have elapsed since Keane's last album Perfect Symmetry; two since Night Train, the EP which followed its three full-length predecessors to the top of the British album charts, securing them a place in pop history. If Keane's feverishly loyal fan base wondered what the group's next album would sound like, they weren't the only ones. In the eight years following the release of 2004's 9× platinum Brit award winning Hopes & Fears, every Keane album has marked a clear progression from the previous one: the anxious emotional terrain mapped out by Under The Iron Sea to the iridescent poptimism of Perfect Symmetry. Strangeland was produced by Dan Grech (Radiohead, The Vaccines, Howling Bells), recorded at Sea Fog, Keane songwriter/pianist Tim Rice-Oxley's studio in South Downs, UK.

Es un disco extraordinario, nos lleva a los orígenes de Keane en Hopes and Fears, su primer disco. Este disco nos deja conocer una nueva faceta de Keane, un grupo mas maduro pero sin perder su esencia que tanto nos gusta.

Fascinante album, de nuevo sentí la escencia de Hopes and Fears, que era lo que la mayoria de los fans pedíamos a gritos!
Un extraordinario trabajo de estos chicos, espero verlos pronto en concierto.
Muy recomendable el album.

Bueno ayer recibi mi Digital Edition de Itunes en la version Deluxe Edition, que les puedo decir, desde la primera cancion de You are Young, hasta Sea Fog me parece un buen disco de Keane, aun cuando aposto por lo seguro de sus dos primeros discos dejando atras el Perfect Symetry y despues el Buen sabor de boca regreso con el EP Night Train, que es lo que como Fans queriamos (me incluyo), ahora con Strangeland, no puedo quitarme de la cabeza los track que creo que son ya escenciales, Disconnected, Sovereing Light Cafe, Black Rain, Neon River y un Bonus track The Boys. Sin duda no es un gran avance de Keane, pero si es un disco donde mantienen la calidad y como dije jugaron a lo seguro y una vez mas ganaron y ganamos un excelente disco!. (Amigos de Mixup traigan minimo el Deluxe Edition para tener el disco con los 17 Tracks!!!)

lo recomiendo al cien.... este disco tieene la esencia de keane y todas las canciones tienen un tema hermoso acompañado por es clasico soniido del piano y la hermosa voz de el vocolista Tom Chaplin <3
